Nice! I am a bit lazy about practicing them; and even more so at times in memorizing them unless I can use them in a piece. I have found it good finger exercise though for dexterity and accuracy. Way to practice them.

Hitting 112° today.
Hoping to visit my daughter in Oley PA in September. It will be a welcome change. -

Nice! Most excellent strumming. Good to see that you’ve made progress in your healing.

I can hear those blues notes coming out of your guitar. Nice! I look forward to hearing it a little down the road. Thanks!

@FingerLakesChris I’m sure Billy would find this pretty easy. He is such a monster. Thanks for listening!
@albert_d Yes, enjoying guitar, having fun, and making some noise. Thanks for listening!

The Daily Challenges are a little over whelming when beginning this journey (at least they were for me). I wouldn’t worry about reaching a certain “proficiency level” before moving on. This program works a little different. Put the time in; at least 10 minutes (I did twice that much at first), but still stopped then. However well I did with that time was my proficiency level at that point. Some lessons I was pleased with; others…….no way. You keep going according to the schedule in TAC, and since the skills practiced each week Monday through Friday, are the same on that day; even though the material is different; you are still developing that skill. Doing this keeps frustration (and the sense of falling behind), away. You are developing according to who you are, at your pace. You will see growth; but not by hammering away at a specific lesson until you are satisfied you have reached a certain level; but by developing the 5 essential skills; chipping away at them each week. You will see progress then, have fun, and avoid discouraging yourself; which causes a lot of people to quit guitar. Some lessons that I could not get down, even to a modest degree the first year, I can play well quite easily now. Take it easy on yourself, enjoy, and play the best you can within a time each day; then move on to the next lesson………no matter what. It works!

That is a very touching melody; and your presentation is delicious. Well done!

Wowzers! First of all, good job strumming the chords and using a barre chord. You are on the journey. Secondly, as already noted, beautiful voice. Last, but not least, emotion. Sincere, heartfelt, touching. You made me feel the song. Kudos!

Very well done! The lyrics can strike a chord for any of us at some point in our lives. Your vocals remind me of someone, but I can’t put a name to it. Way to go!
