Are you talking about what Tony named “Sambora Sweetness”? This is something I play multiple times per week. But only the run from the 14th fret down to the first, I do it with and without the pick, all kinds of variations. At some point I need to add on the rest of the intro. LOL!
Congrats on your win!

Nothing to worry about, you just pick up in the lesson that appears when you are ready to return. The challenges aren’t cumulative, each one is self contained and many of the skills are repeated in other lessons helping you to get them down as they keep coming at you.

Those are some big wins! It’s great to have a friend that you can grow with too, very helpful! Congrats!

I think this would be amazing if it were your 5th time through! First? I think you are so close to knocking this out of the park.

Thanks, yes it was a blessing that it didn’t hinder me in the least. I’ve always had strong bones and apparently at 65 I still do. I used to ski and snowboard a lot and on occasion I have taken some crazy spills, but I’ve always come down the mountain on my own.
I have to ask: what are rdsgossamerwings?

Thanks, I do pretty much the same as you, it does seem that your elbow moves in rather than out as @Loraine and @Skyman911 have stated above. For me it only works bringing it in.

You are, keep up the good play!

Thanks Ron! This is session 270 for me. I have made a lot of progress since joining TAC, but parts of this song give me fits! First time through I really didn’t get past Wednesday. This was my third time and I have played my way through all the challenges but it’s pretty painful to listen to quite honestly. I recorded the Thursday play through but I’m not wanting to post it. I didn’t record Friday’s session as I was mainly focusing on the middle finger hammer into the D chord which had been mostly inaudible going back to last August. I figured out that I wasn’t strumming the low E properly so there wasn’t much ring to it.
I started my guitar journey last March from scratch, having never played aside from just poking around on my sister’s guitar in my teens with no direction whatsoever. Sounds like we’re in about the same place. I joined TAC on July 3rd last year, a day before turning 65.
