My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

To improve my fingerpicking and flat-picking skills. AND to add at least 3 songs to my repertoire!

To get out of my shell and actually play in front of someone – starting with family.

Would love to play – jam with someone – but Covid has made that difficult. But that will change!

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week – I will sign and play each day and complete each daily(5) exercise.

I will start each morning at 7:30 am. I am a morning person and this time of day ensure there will be no interruptions.

My den/office is set up with my guitars and this is my ‘guitar home’

Why I'm Here

I just wasn’t sure where I was going with guitar lessons – and felt I wasn’t progressing. Along came Covid-19 and my lessons were suspended.  However – I wanted to continue with some type of lessons. I have a habit (which drives my spouse crazy sometimes) of checking out things that may seem to take forever before I purchase something. I must have spent 9 months checking out acoustic guitars (and renting them) before diving in with my first purchase. (A Seagull Artistic Mosaic). Same with online lessons. I checked out about 5. TAC was near the bottom as the music was ‘not my style. (I am a 70’s rock guy. My guitar hero is Jimi Hendrix)

However the more I checked into TAC the more I liked the teaching approach – took the plunge and love it. Added huge benefit – TAC has opened up a whole new world of music for me.

So I am here to learn, improve my playing skills and expand my music horizons!
