</div>Hi James, I had exactly the same issue on this laptop with Brave browser; my phone, tablet, and my desktop would let me login, but not the laptop. The answer was to set up a new profile on the laptop and once I was back up and running I deleted the old profile – I guess it was some kind of glitch/corruption in the profile. In Chrome settings you will see a user icon (mine is called Person 1) with a drop-down menu. You can select a new profile there, give it a name, and import all your settings before deleting the old one.

You’re welcome! Justin Sandercoe of Justin Guitar has some brilliant YT videos too; I was looking at major keys and barre chords today and his explanations are very clear and easy to follow, he assumes minimal theory knowledge. I’m concentrating on TAC and the 30-day course, but so far it is revision for me; right now I’m just getting used to Tony’s method, but I’m open to good teaching wherever I find it.

Agreed…… I actually pick the guitar up throughout the day, outside of my study period, quickly going over the the previous lessons. Cheers.

Hi, you may balk at this, but I say cheat, and don’t feel bad about it, just get the job done……. If you go on YT Lauren Bateman (a brilliant teacher) encourages her newbies to start with 2-finger chords until they get the fretting flexibility for the full chords.
I have never been able to play a barred F Chord, so I use a 3-finger alternative that’s easy to play….. It sounds identical to the real McCoy, to my untrained ear.
If you look for Lauren on YT she’ll be able to give you easy viable alternatives, until you get more experience.

Brilliant! Good voice too mate, and it’s nice to see another leftie playing, gives me hope as I finish Day 3.

Hi, an outstanding music theory teacher – search YouTube for ‘Steve Stine triads’. He has loads of free videos on basic music theory; I bought his 2-disk course and it is music theory for beginner through to expert. However this is (I think) what you are looking for – search for this on YT:

I’ve just been practicing this; I tried both ways, pinky and sliding. I prefer the pinky because you can fret at 2 and leave your index down, then just press the pinky on 4 when needed. Seems smoother to me. Roy

Hi Kim, thanks for the reply. The answer hit me between the eyes literally half an hour ago! I woke up, looked at the tabs for Week 1 and realised that Tony is playing 12-bar blues, ie the last 3 staves; the first staff is there to show the general pattern.
This fits with all 3 tabs in Week 1.
Thanks again, Roy

<div>Hi, that’s a bummer but I agree with Carol; you can easily find alternative fingerings for most chords on YouTube. Lauren Bateman is a superb teacher and she has addressed this issue in her video
<yt-formatted-string force-default-style=””>BEGINNERS Instantly Play ALL Major & Minor Guitar Chords with 2 Finger. </yt-formatted-string><yt-formatted-string force-default-style=””>
</yt-formatted-string></div><yt-formatted-string force-default-style=””>I disagree with Moose; I am left handed but persevered for 6 months playing right-handed and it totally destroyed my enjoyment of the instrument, I simply could not fret with my dominant hand. It sounds counter-intuitive but that was my experience. </yt-formatted-string>
<yt-formatted-string force-default-style=””>I strongly urge you to live with your limitation but simply work around it. For instance the “F-word”…….for the life of me I can’t play a barred F-chord but there are a few easy alternatives that sound pretty much identical and that suits me fine – I’m not aiming for perfection, ‘sounds ok’ is fine by me.</yt-formatted-string>

Thanks Kevin. My first online teacher was really good, BUT he insisted I play right handed – I wasted 6 months doing that……my left hand is very dominant such as in writing and using hand tools, but cricket, baseball, golf etc I play right handed. The LH refuses to fret properly.
Anyway I reverted to LH guitar and have no problem fretting with my RH. That was in 2014 and I tried a couple of ‘conventional’ teachers over the years but quickly got bored with their ‘system’. I really like Tony’s attitude and approach and yes, I’m well into week1 of the 30 days and enjoying it. Cheers.
