    Peter, enjoy the journey. We are our own worst and harshest critic on the face of the planet. You are playing a very difficult instrument. As far as your improvement progress…you can’t compare yourself to others. Enjoy the Daily Challenges. The bits and pieces will add up “I have improved” when you least expect it. Keep strumming….

    what to do with your prima donna? Put him in a room other than the one you practice in. Make sure he can not open the door once closed. I have 4 cats and a dog who all spend quality time with each other when I play.

    Everybody….thank you for responding to my question. I’m confused about not fretting the high e. That is not where the challenge is. I can not fret the D,G, and B because of the stubby tip of my ring finger. In this case 2 out of 3 doesn’t sound very pleasant.
