I’m old and plenty of time to try things. I have a Martin and a Taylor, both I play and rotate between them. The Taylor came with Elixer strings 12-53. The Martin came with Martin strings 12-53. I’ve had numerous guitars over the last few years. I’ve tried Elixer, D’Addario, Fender, Santa Cruz and others. One of the things about Santa Cruz, you don’t order by size like 12-53, you order tension (light, medium, heavy) so I called them and told them I usually play 12-53 so they sent me a comparable string. I also use the phos/bronze strings. I personally have begun to like the Elizer best and buy from Sweetwater but intend on leaving the Martin with Martin strings. It’s fun testing out strings. Steve

I just listened to this, it’s great. Are you following tablature or where could I get this? Steve

Thank you. Steve

Thanks. I didn’t opt out as far as I know. I do have Victoria’s email so I will ask her. I didn’t even think about that. Steve

Thank you. Good to know. Steve

I am printing mine also now, but what do you do about the backing track? I’d like to be able to go back months and get the backing track to practice with, but like you said, only the current month stays on screen. Thanks. Steve

Thank you. I tried what you suggested and it worked. However, it will only allow you to do the current month from all I can tell. I’ll just have to stay up to date on each week, and print them. Steve

Thank you. I think your direction is the path I’ll follow. Steve

Thanks. I had no idea and there isn’t a guide that I know of, other than people like you who will help. Steve

Thank you. This I get and it is pretty easy to understand. However in the capo lesson, section 2 transposing chords, he uses 1st key of G, so G,C and D. He says to get the same sound/note, not shape you play, E,A and B on Fret 3. Then on fret 5 you play D,G, and A. So G is G, and capo on 3, G is E. On 5, G is D. That is what is confusing me. He gave chord equivalents for keys of G, E,C, A and D with different capo positions. Example A=A,D,E, but he put capo on 2 and uses G,C,D and on 5 he plays E,A,B. That is what is confusing me. How he figures that out other than trial an error.
