| Why I'm Here |
I played “cowboy” cords since I was 12 as my father always had a guitar around. About 12 years ago (i’m 69 yo) I bought an electric guitar and wanted to play Blues. I struggled and purchased 8+ different guitar courses, none of which I completed. Most had everything including the kitchen sink and I just floundered for years. I ma grateful that I picked up quite a bit of music theory along the way however.
I found (don’t remember how) Tony’s Acoustic Challenge and decided it was for me. It offered daily lessons and showed me how to play them. I still didn’t get it at first. That would be the first year. Then in January of 2019 I decided to retire or at least cut work back and took up playing guitar everyday. Walla, I got serious about TAC.  I use it as therapy. I haven’t regretted one bit. I enjoy every minute I play and also the laid-back geeki-ness (not sure that’s hyphenated or even a word) of every show and lesson I take.
