@RealKurt you are amazing! I always look forward to your playing. Congratulations on your new guitar! You make it sing! As I read through the comments and I listened to you playing, you were encouraging me. A theme kept popping up and it was “I put alot ot string time in this past year while at home” and the statement that really encouraged me…the time you put into a picking pattern. As a 2 1/2 yr TAC member, I needed that encouragement right now. Thank you. Working on a bluegrass piece with daily hours of working on pattern and smoothness. Hammer ons, pull offs. Will I ever get it smooth and consistent? Then, there you were! Tony’s Monday and Thursday emails have also had encouragement, but hearing you …all I can say is Thank you. You were a cup of water as I was going across the Sahara.
I have always been enthralled with your artistry. Continue to keeps us posted of where you are. I’d love to see you perform in person

Wow! @DavidScoggins this was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Also for your step by step instructions of how you get it all together. I am trying each week to improvise. Bit by bit small wins come. A small group of notes sound good here or here. I hear what you did and am amazed. Thank you for the insight and your various comments to people. Way to go!!

Way to go @BethL . I haven’t gotten as far as “eyes closed” but have been making a conscience effort at not looking at my hands, fretboard or strings. I keep thinking of Tony Rice in his closet and that was one of his things…playing without seeing. You keep going, BethL ! Keep going! You have set an excellent goal!
