I performed this over the weekend at a bluegrass jam camp with about 10 other guitars, fiddles, mandolins, and bass. Everybody loved it, what an amazing feeling that was.

If I barre a chord I expect it to be in tune, so why shouldn’t I expect the same from a capo?

Well here’s the final product. I’ll post a video of me playing it as soon as I have time. I’m so proud of this guitar and love playing it!

You’ll be just fine with a set of 12s. The bridge is further from the sound hole because you lose 2 frets and still need to keep your scale length.

Are you playing a 00-17? I bought a 000-17 a few weeks ago and I love it!

Thanks. We made a lot of music and memories together. Hoping the rest of the guys from our jam group will continue to get together and jam somewhere else.

I appreciate it!

This is a first for me. A local luthier does a one on one 2 week guitar building class. He has all sorts of types of wood and the majority of the work is all done by hand. Chiseling, scraping, sanding and carving. I hope to try making some more guitars on my own some day after this one.
