Happy NGD @Mrfredsporty 👍🎂👍 Can’t wait to see it. I think it’s a good idea to get away from the medium gauge strings. When I changed strings on my 000-15, I went with the “lifespan 2.0 treated” custom lights (11-52 gauge). I was able to bend notes so easily compared to the medium gauge strings. I also purchased the Santa Cruz low tension strings but haven’t tried them yet, that will happen on the next string change.

Hi @Kitman , when you scroll down the page with all the flat picking songs and get to the title you want, you’ll notice a gold circle with a carrot symbol (>) in it. Click on that and you’ll come to the song lesson page. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see another gold circle with a download symbol (underneath “Attachments”), click on that and you will be downloading the tab as a “PDF”file. Once the download is complete, you’ll have to look at whatever software program you have on your computer that stores downloaded PDF files. For instance, I have “Adobe Acrobat Reader” as my default PDF download location. Once you find the PDF file, you can print it out if you want.

Very nice @Marty69 🤩 Once again I got a chance to jam with you😃 and enjoyed it immensely.🤩🤩 I was able to see that you opened the song with a D chord (and made the assumption that it was in the key of D major🤔) so I just started playing notes in the D scale until I could find some melodies (riffs) that seemed to fit with the chord progression you were playing – it was a ton of fun for me👍👍 That’s how I jam with you Marty😱. Thanks for posting, you sounded great and I had a lot of fun listening🎸

Hi @the-old-coach 👋 For me, first it’s about knowing who’s version of the song that I want to play (and sing). From there, knowing the lyrics & tempo, then how the chords (tab) fit in with all of that😱 Baby steps – you can’t expect to go in running, that just creates havoc within yourself and leads to defeat (I wish @jumpinjeff could say this in his philosophical terms – it would sound a lot better). So just think baby steps for putting it all together👍
