I just returned from 2 weeks in Virginia at UVA taking industry course for company. I took guitar with me, but I was so self conscious that others could hear me, and I’m not that good. I played strumming with just my barehands, until one day I was tired of the restraint and I used a pick. Probably still played lightly so as not to have management or the police called. It felt good, and I figured these people don’t know me from Jack. My deck is a little different story, but I’ll give it a go.

Hot, humid and extremely dry (just outside Philly), but I’m going to try it. My porch was turned into a foyer years ago, but I have a nice deck out back. I haven’t been brave enough to play outside yet, because I don’t feel skilled enough. No time like the present to overcome that fear.

Thank you so much for your pointing out areas of improvement @MikeGaurnier ! I have a difficult time projecting my voice, but I’m working on it, and I was pleased with this one.

Truly appreciate your encouragement

Thanks @Philb ! I really hope I’m improving as I play and put my flaws out there. I really appreciate your feedback.

Really appreciate it Bill. As for equipment, right now I have a USBmicrophone hooked up to computer. I have a regular mic and interface, but I can’t figure out how to set them up, along with a pedal too. Nothing comes with printed instructions anymore, and I don’t think the few ways I’ve tried to set them up has worked, so I just gave up fiddling with it. I need a real desktop computer. The one I have. Is towerless and slow and cumbersome, and

Thanks so much Kit.

Thanks @Cadgirl . Not a hard song to play. This was a tough one to learn to play and marry up the lyrics and vocals, but they’re all tough initially.

Thanks @Philb ! The guitar is a few.months old. I purchased it used on Reverb, and I couldn’t be happier. Lots of fun to play, and I’m definitely taking advantage of it’s ease of play and playing a lot of rock songs that just sound better on electric. That being said, acoustic is still my guitar of choice.

Hi @Bill_Brown Thanks for your kind words. The guitar is an Ibanez AS53 Artcore Semi-Hollow. I love it, and sit’s very easy to play and sounds awesome whether playing clean (no effects) iidor with effects. A good amp helps with set up to make it sound great. Mike is a Blue mè
