Fantastic wins all around @Mrfredsporty ! Congrats on starting the daily challenges! That’s a great step to learning foundational skills, such as scales, improv, rhythm, and key chords, chord transitions, etc. I think it’s awesome that you began your guitar journey at 78. It has nothing to do with age. It has everything to do with making a decision to follow a dream and actually doing it (while having fun)! Btw, a pick can be a great friend. Don’t give up on it.

@sahardellamorady Glad you’ve learned about favoriting the ones you want to save. I agree with @ChuckS to not sweat having missed 2 weeks of lessons, as they rotate back around about every 8 months. Another good suggestion is to save a copy of the odf lesson and you can revisit it that way. I have the videos saved in my favorites if you know which ones you want to access, you are welcome to search them on my member profile.

Happy 3rd TACiversary @SherryH ! It sounds as if you’ve had a good 3 years and are still progressing, which I find inspirational. I remember when I first thought I’d take up guitar. I thought I’d be playing like a pro in no time, well, knocked on my arse a bit there. It’s definitely hard work, but the outcome and small wins make it so much fun and enjoyable.

@PhilBarru Thanks for asking. I still suffer from tendinitis and tennis elbow, but I went through acupuncture and had a cortisone shot. I can still feel it, but it’s bearable. I m playing more, but I’m doing so in short spurts, and I stop right away when I feel it flaring up. Just a matter of time before I’ll need another magic silicone shot.
