@Andy_D Welcome back. Even with the completed status, you’re not precluded from retaking the courses, I don’t know of any way to remove the status, but give a shout out to Victoria. Go to bottom left, click Support, and then open chat. She’ll get back with you pretty quickly.

I either use an external camera on my desk top and film just into the media center and use a blue Yeti USB microphone, Or I just use my phone. They look and sound good enough for me.

Well hell Jeff, you can’t just tease with a great story like this. You have to give us a video.

Very cool when those magical moments happen!

That is funny – not laughing at you. I’ve had to remove a string or two over time, and I’m had to carefully do what you did and was able to get it back on. I think we all go into rote-mode sometimes, and when we “come to,” for lack of a better term, we beat ourselves up. I actually laugh at mys3lf a lot just so I don’t get too down on myself too much.

Hey Doug, everyone has their own experience with there guitar. It could be the guitar is too large, or your seating is too low or scrunched up, or you need to look at your hand while picking. So you pull th e body in and possibly lean the bottom out slightly in order to see your hand. This would cause you to push the neck out possibly.

Other things could be age and less flexible – possibly arthritis , shorter arms, weight can affect one’s ability to reach around the body comfortably.

If you’re a newer player, that could be a part of it, because you haven’t built up muscle memory or dexterity yet.

I agree with @petelanger that a smaller bodied guitar might help you reach around it easier.

Hey @rselznickcomcast-net I would suggest you send a direct suggestion into Support. The forums are member driven. While I know TAC peruses the forums sometimes, your best bet to be heard is to contact them directly. Go to the bottom left and click Support, then start a chat. Victoria is really good about getting back to you quickly.

Very nice Pete! Those are carbon fiber aren’t they?

  • Thanks for your kindness, and I’ll definitely look up that version.

  • It’s been quite a while since you’ve done a cover Fletch. That’s how you taught me to start simple.

  • I really appreciate you listening and your kind words. Thanks Tricia.

  • Thanks so much @Braden . It really is a beautiful son, and I would watch movies /musicals back in the day, and they brought me such joy.

Jeff, you’re always welcome to visit and use my recording studio. It’s a tad small, (approx 10×10) and made even smaller by all the crap I have in it and a large table, a large floor-to-ceiling cabinet, and then there are all the guitars. I currently have 16, I think. I had 17 and gave one away to someone at the YMCA. It’s an addiction . I don’t pay much for them, (under $1K each – many only a few hundred). I have a 1973 Guild F30 and a 1971 red-label Yamaha FG 300, which I won’t sell. I need to start selling many of them, along with so many other things. I will probably be selling my house and moving somewhere less
