My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I’m fairly new to TAC (joined in the end of Jan. 2021). I’ve completed the 30 days course and got a lot out of it. My long term goals are admittedly vague and basically revolve around ‘getting better’ and being more comfortable playing in front of people. However, My next-step goals are:

Complete the ‘Next 6 Chords’ Course.
Identify, Practice and perform an achievable song that is within reach of my skill set (known chords, etc.).
Upload a video of my performance to the Forum page – I really want to break the ice of performing in front of others and chip away at that fear.

My Guitar Routine

In a perfect week…

How many times will you play?

My goal is to pick up and play daily throughout the week, but life is happening – so I will be satisfied with 5 days a week for at least 12 -15 minutes per session.

When will you play?

My kids’ bedtime is 7:30 – 8 during the week, so I plan to practice as I can between 8 – 9pm.

Where will you play?

For the most part, the 1/2 bath at the back of the house is my practice room! Very small, but has decent acoustics. On a nice night I may skip out onto the back porch to play.
