Brandon, it depends on the week.
Tony bases his exercises on the scales in specific key of the tune for that week. There are 5 pentatonic scales, and also major and minor scales.
Tony sometimes shows and demonstrates either a full scale or portions of a scale depending on what we need to achieve for the specific exercise.
If you want to see the full pentatonic scales there are plenty of videos online and books you can read on and familiarise yourself. However, when you first start with theory it can be very daunting and dry… That’s why Tony tries to make them interesting and introduce them with improv exercises

Hey Brandon,
I don’t want to sound critical, but it’s still early days for you. Things don’t happen that quick when you learn a new skill. Try to see it like being an infant, you don’t become a professor in a particular field in the first year of studying something new… it takes years, it’s the same with guitar. There’s no use in comparing yourself with others because it depends on people’s background and skills. When you listen to professional guitarists, like Mark Knopfler for instance, he spent many, many years of playing his guitar for hours and hours everyday, even sleeping with his guitar before he became any good. Everybody has to go through the same hurdles. If this lifelong learning is not making you happy then try to find a way to accept that it’s the way it is with learning instruments. Otherwise you’ll give way to frustration and failure, which is not good

Hi Barbara,
If you’re new to guitar set up i would advise you to take it to a guitar shop where they have staff doing repairs and who’d be able to help you and advise. Could be a simple thing such as adjusting the truss rod, but if the weather has been changing a lot, could be because the wood has contracted/expanded… in any case, best to get someone to look at the guitar as it could be lots of different things

There is Vimeo as you said, but after so many uploads you will have to pay to use. I know of another one called Daily Motion, but i have not fully investigated it. I hope they let you use your account again, if you tell them to delete that particular Eagles video…
