Hey Now everyone, I really want to learn how to play guitar the right way. Years ago I played in a couple of bands and muddled my way around guitar and was “the lead singer” so to speak. I truly think this is because nobody else wanted to sing or were to scared too sing. Then things happen like life, my wife became pregnant, children were born and some of you know the rest. But suffice it to say that raising a family and being in a band are not compatible. The children are now grown and moved out which leaves me the time to enjoy those things which I could not previously. Now for the boring stuff, I hold a Masters Degree in Information Technology and am a UNIX computer geek, I am also a US Navy veteran, I love dogs, and the Grateful Dead, I love to read, write songs, and ride bicycle. We have several guitars in the house but at the moment I am playing a Morris Rambler Series S-61 with some kind of pickup and pre-amp.

My wife play's guitar and mandolin and I want to be able to jam with her and also with other friends. Most of my friends either have or play some type of instrument and it is nice when we go camping and such to bring out the instruments and jam in the fresh air. I really want to learn how to play because I love music because music is like all the best parts of life.
