Outline: Building from the understanding of the 12 barre blues format, corresponding chords for the parts: E, A, and D will be taught. Proper finger placement, as well as fretting technique for chords will be introduced and stressed as a continuation of proper single note fretting technique.

Techniques/Concepts: Basic Fretting, Tab, Chord Construction

Outcome/Goal: Student will be able to play the E major, A major, and D major chord with clarity, using correct fretting. Student will know by name the three chords mentioned above.
