Directory on Computer of Comments, Songs, Challenges
I just read the post on RECORDING GEAR. I’m making this separate post because the threads slow to a crawl once more and more people comment. I currently had already started a directory on my computer of the “daily challenges” with the tab and video (of course video is a thing of the past now) and the 30 day challenge. I don’t always have access to the internet so being able to access these on my computer is a benefit. Today, I started a file simply called COMMENTS. There are a lot of comments made that are buried inside other comments that I want to return to, but I don’t remember where they were. So I pulled up a WORD document and copy / paste the comment and the title of the post. I can add my own ‘tags’ to search for it. I don’t know if anyone wants to go that extra step in storing on their computer, but it might help you out when you want to search out “free sites for use in recording” or “removing background noise” but don’t remember where those posts were. This is just an idea and I want to thank everyone that has made comments, because there has been a lot of good ones out there.

Hi @Cadgirl – I print to pdf and save copies on my computer. I was under the impression that we could search forums, but I don’t see that capability. Another bummer.

Yes, we can search the forum, I attached a jpg. But you have to know what you are searching for. I just started saving stuff because as of right now the forums are on the slow side. I wish the forums were a stand alone. Sometimes i’ll be asking a question or commenting on something and it would help if I went back to the exercise to get information, currently i can’t do that. Or at least I don’t think we can.

You can also favorite a forum posting which you would then access via the dropdown menu under your profile name.

OK @MommaTAC , that’s good to know too. I’m starting to get the hang of everything. I feel a little more comfortable using the forums. I find the site easier to navigate around in now with all the courses in one area.
