Small wins
Not sure this is a small win…
I was getting out of my truck at a small strip mall, and the guy next to me driving a small delivery van was sitting in the drivers seat playing his guitar. It was so cool to see that, so I struck up a conversation. He told me he bought a cheap guitar to practices on his breaks, and takes it every where he goes.
Well I went and got a cheap bang around guitar to put in my truck and to take on trips. Now there are no excuses of missing a day…

That means “New Guitar Day” – it’s celebrated among TAC members like a birthday or perhaps like an announcement of a new child in your family. Some post video performances playing the new guitar, some just post pictures while others just post an announcement with a description. It’s considered a big thing here, no matter the type or condition of the guitar.

I think this is a perfect place to link this video comparing a cheap rig with one that costs 30 times as much. It’s electric but the point still stands.
Gear is fun. But music isn’t about gear, it’s about expression!
