That was a great performance tonight Marquita. My mom had a ton of the albums you have been pulling music from lately so they are really fun for me. Always reminds me of summer with all the doors and windows open throughout the house. Always made the place smell like pine and cedar, which are smells I still love.

Thanks, @Alfred! That pine and cedar smell reminds me of times in the mountains. Those songs are so much a part of me growing up. Even those from the 40’s and 50’s because my mom or dad would hum or sing them. They are a source of comfort for me, and trying to improve the rhythm, although sometimes challenging, is something that feels natural and something for which I should be aiming. Being born in that time period gives a person advantage of the music of the before and after generations…
