Day 90 of The 100 Day Project
Posted by Michelle-PSL on April 30, 2021 at 6:05 pmA very simple version of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” This was a quick-studied song – about 90 minutes total…and it shows. I would have worked on it a little longer but I’m cutting myself some slack because I donated blood today, so I’m a wee bit pooped. Wearing the t-shirt I got as a gift. Haven’t worn a tie-dyed t-shirt in 40-something years! Guess tie dye is cool again.😎
Tomorrow starts the last-10-days countdown!!! If there is a song you would like me to redo, let me know! No promises, though…😉
Thanks for watching!

I just gave blood last week, so I completely understand. Very nice performance.

👏 Good job. People under-estimate the difficulty of singing while playing a different rhythm.
-
Nice job! I’m impressed you could learn and record it in 90 minutes!

Nice Job Michelle. It takes me at least a day before I can play without at least the lyrics in front of me.
My request is “Yellow”, I liked that song

Thank you @Alfred ! I’ll put “Yellow” on the list of possibilities. I like that song too, but it took lots of memory power for all those lyrics…

Good job playing and singing! 90 minutes for a quick study! I don’t think I could ever do that. I can’t remember anything. I have to have the sheet music in front of me. Good job on your 100 day project.

😊… I think you have seen the tape across the finish-line with that smile Michelle; bravo !
Well played … 👏👏👏👏👏😎
…. and a cool T-shirt …. 😉

Nice job Michelle. I always liked this song. Thanks for giving blood. Any Linda Ronstadt songs up your sleeve? The last stretch!

Thank you @Jill_M ! I’ve thought about a popular LR song, but I think it has to be played fingerstyle. Doesn’t sound good strummed. I just say we’ll see…🙂
