Wow, you are cranking them out lately @Loraine Good work. False starts are part of the game anyway. I enjoyed that and nice melody picking there
-
Thank you @alfred. I was actually quite proud of myself on this one. First one I felt fairly good about.
-
As well you should you did great! was this your first time picking a melody?
-
I believe it was the 2nd fingerpicking song I did, but I can’t remember.

I really appreciate it @Daniel_Morin , but I wasn’t playing lefty. It must be like a mirror reflection that the camera did. I pick the “right” way – haha (couldn’t help myself). 🤣

Thanks so much Fly – It was a fun one to learn and play. I wish the song vault would still be a part of TAC and new songs added to it. I love learning the songs and playing them.

That was sweet @Loraine 😍! I think finger style playing is the hardest thing to do and there you are – taking the bull by the horns👏👏👏. I’m a little jelly because I still can’t get through Freight Train without causing a derailment😱.
-
You’re too funny @Bill_Brown . Keep plugging away at Freight Train. It’s a great fingerstyle song. I like fingerpicking more than I like strumming or flatpicking. I just need to try and understand how to use it for other songs outside the vault.

Nice job! You are improving every post. Sounded good! As far as false starts or imperfections go; for the most part, we all have them. I don’t think I will ever post one without some flaws. That’s okay. 🙂 Keep posting!

Thanks Phil. I enjoy finger picking and this was fun to learn. There were jjust enough challenging spots to make me really work at it.
