Goldberg Improv – Extremely Rough Cut
Posted by Chris_H on July 29, 2021 at 5:42 pmI took a stab at it & tried to work a bit of the Tuesday lick in there. I’d blame my slip-ups on the new to me guitar I’m playing here, but that’s not fair to Flo as I call her (short for Florida) as it has an island inlay on the fretboard.

Thanks for sharing, Chris. I love that you are experimenting with slides. I’m going to give that a try too. Keep up the great work 🙂

Nice work Christopher. Beautiful guitar with great tone. What is it?

Thanks @nelsonb12, it is a Washburn Bella Tono 56SC model. Spruce top with acacia back & sides. I bought it used on Reverb for $400, I believe it was a return no marks on it that I saw. They run for $529 new. It’s a smaller body that a concert with an arm bevel. Good couch guitar, has a Barcus Berry under saddle pickup with on-board tuner.
