  Out of the Pentatonic Rut!

  It only took 20 years, but thanks to this course (one hour in), I am now improvising with more than just pentatonic scales. Thanks for opening my eyes to other systems!

  Nice win there @Burton F! If my memory wasn’t a living sieve I might be able to remember patterns like the pentatonic scales (which I’ve been attempting to memorize for years now with no success). I mostly play by sound and feel although I tend to stay away from soloing for the same reason.
