Last week my sister, who is new to guitar, said her guitar made a funny sound. I picked it up and knew immediately what it was. A few shakes and out fell a pick. “So that’s where that went!”, she said.

Get enough in there and no need for a percussion shaker! 😉

And another pro tip is if you set the relief so that the neck is bent over backwards it turns your guitar into a free resonator!

Inside the guitar seems to be my favoured spot although one of my Larkin Poe plectrums went interdimensional bewteen Christmas and New Year. I blame Dr Who!

Sometimes I threaten the floor with a vacuum and it seems to cough up picks especially in the vicinity of my Persian rugs.

At least you can sometimes retrieve wayward guitar picks from the lint trap in the dryer… You’d think all the lost socks could be found in this same way. Go figure???
