  • Small WIN! 364 Day streak

Posted by Al.E on July 14, 2023 at 5:27 pm

Today is my 364th day in a row playing guitar. I played between 10 and 120 minutes each day.

If I see the light of day tomorrow, I will complete playing every day for 1 Year. The Bummer about playing streak is I’m going to Ireland and Scotland for a few weeks so my streak will come to an end on the 28th.

I’m Not Bringing a guitar with me. Maybe I find a music shop or two during my travels.

    Have a Grateful Day!

A hearty congratulations to you. I intentionally broke my streak at 366 because I said that enough. And headed to France and Spain. But I’ve been steadfast and run up a few other long streaks. The habit is there and the counter helps but does not rule. That does not diminish your accomplishment. Plus all the fun you are having!

Thank you and welcome to Tac I see you are just a few weeks into the journey.

Keep the faith, do what you can each day and move on each day.

Don’t get hung up for too long, on one thing you can’t get, I know it will come around again and each time you will see a difference. you will figured out how to make the sound correctly, I could not make a barr cord to save my life for 2 year, then It happened to be clean and with out buzz. so I go with it and build. I hope you get it as quick as makes you feel happy.

@Al.E Al, Congratulations on your one year streak! What an accomplishment. The streak doesn’t necessarily need to end. You can still log in daily, and there are plenty of things you can do to maintain. You can do air guitar, practice scales, study the fretboard or read up on some theory. Use your imagination, and you’ll do great and maintain your streak.

I’m envious of you taking a trip to Ireland and Scotland. I’m part Scottish, and some English scattered in, so that would be a fun vacation. Hope you have a blast. Enjoy the pub scenes and the music that accompanies them.

Thanks Loraine, I normal start each day doing just that reviewing learning without the guitar in hand.

      I do play every evening.

I volunteer at Sellersville theater. If you have not been there yet, Great place to see artist of many colors, your really can get up and close to watch masterful artist play.

I did not forget about getting together to play, I did find a Jam group Part of the Bucks county folk song society. I think they me in Haycock area. and one in leigh.

Hey Al, I’m at Sellersville all the time, and so is @dr_dave . My next show there isn’t for a while. I’m having to slow the pace of concerts, because I overdid it this year with 3-4 concerts a month at various venues. Glad you found a local jam club. Anytime you want to hpjam, just shoot me an IM.
