  Listening to my Doc Watson station on Pandora there was a really cool song by The Cure called Just Like Heaven covered by The Infamous Stringdusters in modern progressive bluegrass style. I can’t really play the way they do or sing at all for that matter but I was i spired to try to record it

  I had never heard that before but really liked it. I can’t compare it to anything else, but you did a great job, and your singing fit it well. Nice use of bass notes on the chords. Well done!

  Thx everyone. Surprised people liked it. I really thought it was kind of monotonous. I am working on other stuff with more crosspicking, fills, riffs, intro etc

  I really need to work on “spicing it up” now that I am getting better at chord changes and strumming
