  Ready for the times to get better

  This is one of my favorite Doc Watson songs. He has an amazing catalog of Bluegrass, finger picking , and folk/traditional.

  I normally flatpick this song even though the real version is finger picked. Tonight I decided to throw my fingers at it and try to see what happens so after about eight or nine takes this is probably the best one I’m going to get tonight.

  Thanks I think it’s a cool song I’m glad to hear other people like it. I completely flubbed the chord change at the end but it actually sounded kind of cool the way it disintegrated into the ending. I was going to cycle the chords one more time and then I just gave up when I missed the transition. I don’t think I could do that a second time on purpose
