Just completed my first year with the TAC family. It’s hard to gauge progress, I’m still not confident enough to play in front of anyone, but I am very much enjoying this journey. I retired from work two years ago so I have the time to put in the hard yards. I play most of the time for two hours a day, one hour early morning doing TAC and one hour in the afternoon doing my own thing. I’m currently on an overseas holiday for three weeks with no guitar, two days in and missing it already.

I have signed up for another year plus have signed up for guitar wizard witch will keep me in the loop till I get back to my guitar. So happy to have found TAC and very excited for the journey ahead.

And it only gets better! Congratulations. Enjoy your travels. I just got back from a Caribbean cruise but was able to take a travel guitar and keep at it. Travel can be hard on your routine. I used a travel trip to Europe last year to read James Shipman’s book on music theory for guitar. It kept a little share of mind on the guitar rather than just Waisting Away in Margaritaville.

Thanks Albert, I’m logging into Fretboard wizard which I joined just before we left to learn a bit of theory while away and hopefully pick up where I left off on my return.

It’s become so intrenched in my daily life that I miss it even after a couple of days.

Happy 1st TACiversary! Make a video of your playing, don’t look at it till about 6 months later. You will see the advances you’ve made. 😊 🧙‍♂️😎

Thanks Marty72, I will take your advice and see how it progresses. I’ve heard Tony mention this approach before, but now after your prompt I’ll give it a try..

Congratulations on your 1st TACiversary! You should really notice a difference in your skill this year when taking the dailies. As they rotate around you’ll see how much they come more easily. I agree with other comment. Take videos as you go along and look at them several months to a year down the road. Y I ull definitely s we e your improvement. Taking Fretboard Wizard is a great course.
