The tab I used credits: Transcribed by Slowhand, Music by Jimmy Page
This was based on a traditional folk song called “Blackwater Side.” The most popular version of “Blackwater Side” was recorded by Bert Jansch, but a British folk singer named Anne Briggs also did a version. She was a big influence on Jimmy and on many British singers, but she stopped recording when she was 27 and never became famous. This will serve as a fingerstyle benchmark for me. Played on my mahogany Breedlove Discovery tuned to DADGAD and recorded using an android phone. At the end of this the rain started blowing in on my back and I completely lost focus but I wasn’t gonna reposition for a 2nd take. Maybe I’ll do the 2nd take in another 90 days. SeeYa Soon my friends!!

Enjoyed listening to your rendition @-Rick- , and amazing fret work with the alternate tuning. At least the Breedlove stayed dry (LOL) – great looking (and sounding) guitar BTW. Looking forward to hearing your version again, maybe without the rain.

Wish we could get some rain here in Central Texas. Nice job.
