Timing and playing within your experience level
There is indeed no one way to play any song. I learned using a capo on the 7th and now I know another way. Moving from single strums to more involved techniques simply comes with practice. You have to embrace learning how to play a song in different ways and with time and practice, have a choice interpreting it…I feel the growth after this my second time thru Hotel California. Repetition leads to growth and creativity… Not to mention an increase in synapses in the old brain!
