Hey everyone,
There is a mistake on the 4th note section 4 of the tab. It is showing a ‘G’ note and Tony is hitting a ‘B’. You could probably hit either note without a problem, but I think the ‘B’ note sounds better and is probably the original melody.
Good catch! In the explanation he teaches it one way, but then plays it differently in the demonstration videos. Go figure
Hey Tony,
I know I’m an awful cheat for doing this, but in measure 8, after the slide, I’m finding it a lot easier to play two eighth notes on the 5th fret of the D string instead of an open G as you have it tabbed.
Points off?
Steve
Full credit 🙂 No worries, if you find a way that suits your playing, and it makes it a touch easier I say go for it 🙂
Cheers,
Tony
Hello Tony!
There is a discrepancy between the tab and the speed videos. Section 4 measure 7 you play the 4th eighth note in the explanation but it disappear during the speed versions. If I count the beats, the tab is right but once practice starts it skips a note. Which one is correct?
Tab or speed versions?
Thanks Tony! This tune is cool to learn!
Julie,
Shoot, good catch… often times when I know a song I start to veer from the tab… in this case whichever you like the sound of I would go with. My apologies for ay confusion 🙂
Cheers,
Tony
