    Thanks @MikeGaurnier , I feel a little silly now about my original post. I just caught the AT show on Thursday afternoon where Tony let the horizontal scale out of the bag so to speak. So I can imagine that some people could think that I’m a little full of myself. But I really did wake up Wednesday morning and when I saw the challenge video, I knew right away that I could play that scale horizontally on any of the D strings, and from there realized I could play the scale (from a different starting point) on any of the other strings, because I knew the single notes of the scale.
