Cinco de Mayo marks 3 years of TAC completed. I started in the pandemic gloom to have a distraction and kept it going. During this year I diverted a bit into a program that is more electric and intermediate in nature, but have decided to keep TAC going because i like the daily nugget style of instruction and find a useful complement. I also want to see how long Tony’s beard can get. LOL My objective this year is to find some other musicians to casually jam/learn songs, starting with two of my sons who play bass and electric guitars. Hopefully they will let me in now that I have some chops from TAC!

@drbrow Congratulations on your 3-year TACiversary! I started during the pandemic too, and I converted my membership to a lifetime membership. TAC credited me back what I had already paid and applied it to the cost ( which was my first years membership cost. Not sure if they would credit you all 3 years, but it can’t hurt to ask. I think the lifetime has already paid for itself.

I have no doubt that you’ll find a group or others to jam with. I can’t imagine your sons denying time playing with yo.

I’ve been around since pre COVID, and my experience is that TAC is useful to review things I learned, improve things I kind of learned, and finally, because Tony keeps morphing with some new approaches with various weekly challenges, learn some new gems. Congratulations on you Taciversary and best of success in playing with others, especially family.

Bill_Brown, Just a question if you have the time. BTW I love your posts for the daily challenge especially how you take it a step further into the theory. I am a newbie, a few years with a late start (60). I have a question about the lessons from Tony and how they are repeating. I only have 250 session under my belt and have loved every one until this week I noticed he had repeated the lesson. Since you have been a member for a few years is this common? Do the lessons just repeat? Also, have you taken the fret board wizard? I am looking into this and I am sure it will help but it seems$$. Worthwhile? Thanks for taking the time! Keep up the posts.
