Hello-
I first want to apologize in case I have this wrong- it’s quite possible….
Been at TAC member for appx 18 months. This is the FIRST video in the “Play for us” section of our Forum– at least since I became a member– where anybody has EVER said as their first line– “Hey- welcome back to the channel”………🤔🧐
To be fair– I loved the guitar-playing…….. and the guy playing is no doubt a TAC member….. and the store looks cool!!!…..(and I will stop there next time I pass thru Bozeman)…….but…….
In my opinion– this was an infomercial, pure and simple, with a little guitar-playing thrown in to attempt to qualify as a “Play for Us” video as we all know it.
I know this is a strong statement- again– PLEASE forgive me if I have this wrong!– (and I have zero decision-making authority)- but I- (maybe we)- thought this was a place for TAC members who are trying to share videos they’ve work extremely hard and “risked it all” to post—- for others to see their progress and offer help and advice…… People “bare their souls” in here and it’s really tough for some of us to share their videos– especially their FIRST one…. just sayin’……
Does a “Welcome Back to the Channel” guitar-store- “Please buy this guitar from me”, infomercial, belong here?
Asking for a friend……..🤔
Please don’t be afraid to say if I’ve read this wrong……….
the old coach—- seen a lot, done a lot, unafraid, 3 pints in, old dude

Before the “upgrade” they did on this site, there used to be a forum for NGD’s. This forum is as close as they come here. It was not an infomercial. “Welcome back to the channel” is because I have a channel, such that it is, that I started when I first joined TAC.
BTW, I have posted lots of “play for us” videos both before and after the upgrade. I wasn’t aware there was a prerequisite for the player to be struggling in every video. We all have our journeys.-

Lot
of sound coming from that guitar. I did
look up the Kepma guitars on the internet.
An all wood guitar for under $1000 is hard to find. Thanks for the post @the-old-coach and
introducing us to another make of guitar.
I have never heard of Kepma so I had to look it up. I thought the Kepma story was interesting
enough to add with your post. https://www.kepmausa.com/our-story -
Nice guitar find @danwynne ! I liked the chords voicings you were using during the fingered picking portion of your video. I have to agree with @the-old-coach here – least hear some more playing and singing! That is how we learn together. None-the-less thanks for your post and sharing your experience with the guitar.
