A Streak TACiversary!
Yesterday I reached 800 straight days of being on TAC.
In all the years of starting and stopping my guitar playing something was missing…..consistency! Knowing that for the last 800 days, I have logged into TAC makes me proud of my accomplishment. But it is not over, I have a long way to go to be the guitar player I want to be!
I need to pick a song, and learn it and play it through. I find I do the daily challenges and by the end of the week I am starting the new week and really have not mastered the current challenge.
So my new routine will be to do the challenge then work on song I want to learn until I have it down!!

Bayvu, that is an awesome feat, and such a good feeling. It is now ingrained in you to pick up your guitar each day. I’ve been playing since Covid, and I’ve rarely missed a day of picking up my guitar, even if it’s just for 10 minutes or so.
There are a lot of good sites that offer free lessons to learn actual songs. I’ll message you a few of them, and then there is Ultimate-guitar.com that has chord and tab sheets. If you learn the chords, and you know the melody of the song, you can learn to play it.

I always include songs in my quarterly goals and that has been a good process for me. If you want to see my system you can look at my profile which I update each quarter with my new quarterly modifications (I don’t say goals because it regularly takes me more than a quarter to build the muscle memory for some of the songs.
