Dropped your pick in the hole? That’s rich. We’ve all been there.

LOL – It’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. It is so hard to get them back out once they’ve entered the abyss.

I adhere to the “shake, rattle & roll” technique of pic extraction. 😁

@Loraine, This is a beautiful song, just beautiful. I’ve never heard it before so I had to look up the lyrics. Great Strumming. I laughed at you losing your pick. Ha ha ha, Sometimes I like to just strum with my thumb myself, it gives a mellower sound. Of course you ll wake up with blisters in the morning. Again, I loved the song and you did a good job with it.

Thank you so much. Your response was heartwarming and meant the world to me. I’m glad you liked the song. I thought it was such a sad song, but I liked how he sang the song. I’m sure I didn’t do it any justice.

Nice job. Nice strong chord changes, even rhythm, nice strumming pattern. 🎸👏

Hi @Loraine I really enjoyed listening to your performance. Your “thumb” strumming sounded great. Your timing and consistency of your strumming are really improving along with your sense of timing. I continue to hear more and more inflection in your voice as your sing. This song seemed to have a lot of lyrics packed into it and you navigated them very well. Nice job and thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for the great feedback @Kitman . Not sure why, but certain songs just come easier to me than ones that might seem easier. Although this didn’t have bad chords. It was just, like you said, the amount of words and the inflection necessary.
