Wow very well done @ErikBog ! Thanks for sharing. Is the melody you are playing using pentatonic scale positions?
Nice guitars as well!!👍

Very well spotted! I am not as much into scales as I should be, but it is in D and I figured out most of it by ear. But if I connect the dots, most of it is in pentatonic.

Super impressive! Nicely played! And nicely recorded. I especially loved the clean tone on your tele!
-
cheers @haland and that clean tone is actually very much a crunch tone with a serious amount of volume and some of the tone and volume on the guitar rolled of. Very dynamic under the fingers.

Very impressive. You sound great all around! Thanks for posting.

Very nicely done! Like the split screen format. Was that hard to do? Thanks for sharing!
-
thank you for listening and responding @noahw . The split screen thing sits somewhere between easy and hard. I use Kinemaster in my android phone to do it, but I am sure iMovie or other softwere offer this picture in picture option. For me it is a great way to learn to record a backing track and solo over it. This means I have to wore with a metronome to get the timing right and work on phrasing in my solo-ing. So it does take some time, but there are several rewards that make it worth while for me.

Very heart warming. I can’t help but think the lyrics in my head while enjoying your guitar strings pulling on my heart strings. I don’t have daughters but I have six grand daughters and it touches me. Thanks for sharing and for your hard work.
