Forever Young
So, this is a cool song from the 80’s by an obscure band, Alphaville. I thought it was an appropriate New Year’s offering and first recording on the new guitar. Still don’t have great sound- using a studio mike and monitors… for direct output, which is all wrong, but that is where I am. At least I have a situation which allows me to practice staying right on the mic.
I feel I am playing a bit cleaner on the new Tailor, and the barre chords are somewhat smoother. ( perhaps I am focusing more to sound better, I don’t know)
And, it is amazing for finger-picking!
I encourage everyone to post! This yields motivation, inspiration and creativity. I want to wish my TAC family a very healthy, happy and musical New Year!

Loved it! You sure seem so natural and at ease in front of that microphone, and those chord changes look pretty darn smooth and fast to me (I’m especially envious of your F chord). I’m not quite ready for “prime time” and posting any videos, but watching yours is definitely an inspiration toward that goal – and what better time than New Year’s Day to focus in on those goals😀🎸 It’s clear why you’re loving that beautiful new guitar, too!

Beautiful rendition of the song! You play and sing together beautifully. You are motivating me to try more playing and singing. Maybe someday i’ll be able to play and sing in rhythm nearly as well as you!
