  • Fretboard Wizard course Q

Posted by athowse on February 5, 2022 at 9:13 am

I’m currently going through the Fretboard Wizard course, and just finished the session on CAGED navigation. In this Tony mentions the first Octave exercise (at 15:35 mark of the video), but no reference to find it. Does anyone know where I can find this? No discussion boxes on this course either, so thought I’d try here.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi @athowse , the Octave exercise that Tony’s referring to is in the very 1st lesson of the “Foundational 5”. Go through that 1st video and you’ll see what he’s talking about. Also, there’s a “Materials” tab that appears at the beginning. If you click on that, you’ll be able to download a tab called “Easy Octave Patterns” that shows the exercise.

    Good luck on your journey!

Hi @RichieT , as @Marty69 says, you have to purchase it when it’s offered. In the past, enrollment for FW was typically offered in the spring & fall. I don’t think it was offered last spring, but it was offered (for a short time) this past fall. Anyways, you can contact TAC Support and ask about it. Also, you can simply check the TAC Support page often (daily) and look to see if they have a link to Fretboard Wizard Enrollment. If the link is there, you’ll see it at the middle bottom portion of the page, (in small print) underneath the words “Tony’s Acoustic Challenge” – at least that’s where it was last fall – and it was only there for about 24hours, so you do have to be diligent about looking.

    Good luck👍
