I’ve really enjoyed the open G lessons this week. My Waterloo sounds great in open G and I came close to having an improv together – I even went ahead and learned the rhythm lesson for this week so that I could lay down the backing track myself.

On top of all this, I stumbled on a Youtube video of Stefan Grossman and Tom Feldman talking about the Open G (Spanish) tuning. It’s a great video for any of you blues lovers. I’ve added Spanish Fandango to my short list of songs to learn.

PS: new nickname and I replaced the mountain man profile pic. It’s great to see the usual suspects have already posted in the forums. Cheers!

Great win, William – Who knew open G could be so diverse?
