Fun song, and still loving the keyboards. I wish I could project and put inflection in my vocals like you. Great performance @KevinZ . Really great strumming!

Thanks @Loraine one thing I do is hum the song I want to learn over and over then add some words they are normaly 1 verse and the bridge and the words are normaly wrong then I sing it with low energy outside paying attention to what I call the hard spots repeating those spots over and over until I like what I hear then take it to the guitar and sing it low energy there playing always messes up my singing then play sing until I need to memorize the correct words then I mess up the words play sing if I cant get it I talk them out so I hear them over and over then the real test play something else for awhile and come back to it see what I remember then once that seems right sing full out playing with the inflections to add emotion and feeling then listen to the original pick out key sounds and put them in my version in an attempt to do the original justice point is sing every where you can even if no guitar is present the more you sing the more your voice will feel right doing I hope this works for you also on your journey

I think people see me walking around in the yard or in my garage singing or talking all the time that I have lost it ha ha 😀 now I have my camper converted into a music room but I still sing or hum or whistle when outside and I dont worry about it because it makes learning songs eaisier also picture the chord changes and the note runs in your mind then take it to the real thing the guitar @Loraine but above all have fun

I’m starting to feel that this is a challenge to insert keyboards into one of my play for us vids now! 🤘😂🎹. But seriously it is great to hear the acoustic version. It still has such a great power and vibe, probably helped by the fact that unlike me you can actually sing!

Thanks @Bearcat Rock on to you also it was fun when I posted my electric distortion version I didnt think the unplugged version would go over very well but @Loraine and @Bill_Brown said they would like to hear it because it was unplugged I had to do it a little different than the electric but it was fun and the energy just happens when I get into it ha ha 😀

🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘. Man oh man @KevinZ that was really awesome! Your percussive strumming came through very well on the “unplugged” version. Definitely worthy of a seat on MTV’s “Unplugged” (do they even have that show now… do they even play music on MTV nowadays?

I want to thank you too for your tips on practicing the vocals. All good input.

    Rock on! 🤘

A magnificent performance @KevinZ 👏🤩👏 “Really Truly”🤩 I really enjoyed listening for sure👍👍 I think I liked the unplugged version best (both versions are excellent, don’t get me wrong😱) because I could hear the strumming and picking patterns so well🤔. The electric guitar has a lot more sound distortion🎸, so it’s easier to miss the little nuances 😎 Super job Kevin – loved it🤘

Thanks @Bill_Brown the acoustic is better in my book also I think when just 1 guitar is all that you are playing the less distortion the better but learning the effects of electric and the sounds I can or can not do solo is part of my journey thanks for the support along the way

Thanks for posting the acoustic version too @KevinZ . I thing I actually enjoyed the acoustic better. I didn’t feel like it was screaming at me like on the electric. It fit your vocals nicely too.
