You think so fast on your feet and make the improv’s sound so good Charlie. I can only envy you, mainly because ai don’t even try. Someday a I’ll get around to trying to do improv again. Great job – Just beautiful!

Thanks, Loraine. I lost my way a bit with some of the double stops, but
it was a really fun track to solo with and to try and include elements
of the original melody. Have a great weekend -
Wow, that’s excellent! How long have you been playing?

Hi @BryanDean.
Thanks for listening in. I played years ago from the age of about
12-18. Then only on and off once in a while. I joined TAC over 5 years
ago (about 7 years ago), with the intent to try to getting better at
improvising. It took maybe 2-3 years of TAC for me to start to be more
at ease with improvising. Only in the past few years have the lessons
included backtracks on known songs, so this makes it a fun challenge to
try to get elements of the known song melody into the playing.-
Thanks, Charlie.
While I’m a total beginner (I’ve been doing TAC since this past January) and not in any hurry, it’s good to know that — perhaps — in 2-3 years, I’ll (hopefully) play as you are now.

Very nice sir! Smooth, playing within the song. Clean, clear notes. Most excellent Charlie!
