It’s only a Number, a Great #SmalWin
I am of a mind that a great philosophy of life is, “You are only as old as you feel.” This journey into GuitarGeekdom frequently returns me to bygone days. And today, in advance of hosting the VwA (VOM with Altitude) when I logged on it gave me another number, “1,300”.
While the TAC counter, over time, has had glitches, this is a number of playing sessions that the site now gives us each day, reminds me and energizes me. This is the number of individual days I have logged on. Never once did I not play, something. A lesson, a review, a challenge. 3.56 actual year-days as my next celebration approaches in February.
Yeah, a Great #SmallWin.

You got that right! Even if I haven’t yet succumbed to the “feeling old” mindset, I do strongly believe that TAC and my guitar journey will always be a big boost for keeping my spirit young. Congrats on that 1300 – pretty impressive number, for sure!

Super nice. I’m chasing you (only a couple hundred behind) so don’t let me catch you. Ha. But more importantly congratulations on all the fun you have accumulated behind that “it’s only a number.” Guitar Geeks Unite.
PS. We’ve been through several iterations of TAC and those affects on the process, but I think we are better for it. Post us a song and let’s celebrate?

Brilliant @AttyTJ. I am also getting up there in days played and though some of those days can be frustrating as hell, staying at it has reaped amazing benefits. I haven’t been to as many VOMs as I would like but when I have, you are usually there and your progress is impressive. An inspiration.

Great number, @AttyTJ . I’m just a little behind you. I signed up in June of the same year. And though my guitar journey helps keep me “young”, it is you and others that keep me grounded in my guitar journey. Thanks for that.
