Where to start Thanks to Tony and all.Tomorrow will be one year since I sat here Thinking about giving up. A year and a half and I wasn’t getting any where. And this silly add keep popping up. GUITAR GEEKS UNITE!!! So I thought maybe I should try this before I throw in the towel. I started the 30 days to play I was ask to make a commitment to learning I put 5 or 6 day a week I want to put 7 but I took Tony’s advice and didn’t. my streak says 265 out 365 but I did miss 1 day I did run through the major chords away from everyone. My horse heard He didn’t mind to much.

While I was working on the 30 days to play. I keep hearing Tony talk about giving away a new Taylor GS mini to get in the drawing or should I say sticking.I had to just work on the daily challenge and mark it complete 5 day a week for the month. So I checked it out holy smokes these where way out of my league. But I stumbled around them every day never won a guitar but some where along the way I shocked myself I played the darn thing. Not good but it was all there. That was worth more than the guitar would have been. Big win there. Thanks Tony

I have lived a year of no excuses. Covin tried inter net down for all most a week and 5 stitches in the middle finger of my right hand I’ll be able use it soon but I still have a ring finger. I just think that’s nothing compared some I have seen on Acoustic Tuesday. Thank you all

I have 3 Christmas songs I have worked on to play and sing to my mother in the home.

After Christmas I plan to work on a few song I like to sing.

My routine start after I take care of our horses. First I put 10 to 30 min. on the daily challenge. Then I work on one of the challenges I have bar chords, the blues challenge and the finger stretches I try to work on 2 of these a day. Then I work on the Christmas songs

Sorry this has been so long winded. This has been fun it has seemed slow at time but I have gotten farther Than I have before.

Thanks again Tony and all of you.

Thank you Loraine. It has been a fun year I even played a little bit for my friends at the music store today. And I use to stop when my wife walked in the room.

Congratulations @Mike58 That feeling of being shocked I could to something that had been previously unreachable is still happening to me 6 1/2 years later. It is why I stick around and keep going. That feeling is powerful motivation. Wishing you an upcoming year of fast progress toward your goals.
