I am pleased to know there are others who love to share an Irish tune on St. Paddy’s Day. Our house is decorated in Green, White, and Orange and my wife has been feeding us Irish dishes since Friday. Thanks for sharing. Your usual good job.

Thanks so much @albert_d for listening in and commenting. In my search for an Irish song I fell across this but what drew me in was the Irish flute. For some strange reason I get its hard to explain mesmerized so I tried to recreate some of that in my improvisation part. I also used a flat pick because I have been working to improve my picking with one. The Alive alive oh part was meant for audiences participating so I unplugged the song and made that part stand out. Seeing as was missing the audiences ha ha.

Hey thanks @Braden for listening in and commenting. Very much appreciated. I was drawn by the flute in the full orchestra video and liked the fact the whole audience stood up and sang the Alive Alive Oh sections. I thought can I create that flute and carry the song to give it that Irish feel. Nice to know I came close hope you had a great St Patrick’s Day.

Kevin – I love Irish Songs!! I play Irish tunes along with 3 hammered dulcimer players. The difference is you got a great voice!! Me, my voice has a 4 note range, so I play guitar and do not sing! Thanks!!
