  • New Furch Guitar

I can now admit that I have a full-blown case of GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrom). Today I drove 225 miles round trip and came home with a brand new Furch Vintage 2 Round Shoulder Dreadnaught, Sitka Spruce, and Indian Rosewood. After playing several guitars in the showroom this is the one that gave me chills when playing. I took Tony’s advice and made sure that I played different guitars, and if I had not done so I might have come home with a guitar I was not as happy with. I was thinking about getting a Larivee D-09 that was $1000 more expensive, but as soon as I strummed a G chord I knew the Furch was for me. My best advice for someone with GAS is to do all your research before you go shopping and then make sure that you play all the guitars that you are interested in, and even a few you might not have tried. Many thanks to #Guitar San Diego for the one-on-one time and for showing me that money does not always equal a better product.

Ooh – loving the tabacco sunburst on that. Both my acoustic and electric have a similar look – classic – and coincidentally my Yamaha AC3R has a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides [great minds…. 🤔].

Hope you enjoy your new aquisition and get lots of inspiration from it. Darren [Moonhare] 🤘😎🎸

Nice! Seems like there is a lot being said about the Furch Guitars these days, their name keeps popping up all over the internet. I’ve watched some good reviews of them.
