  • Noticing The Progress

I think Tony has a very positive system. It is all too easy not to see the small progressions we make. Time for me to take notice.

    1. My fingers are tougher and I can play longer.

    2. I know and can quickly grasp the following chords: C, D, Dm, E, Em, F, G, A, Am.

    3. I can shift between chords faster.

    4. I know some boom-chick changes.

    5. I am starting to play an Elvis song, “Marie’s the Name (of His Latest Flame).” G, Em, C, D chords.

    6. I am getting better at triplets. And doing triplets followed by eighth notes.

    7. I play everyday for at least twenty minutes.

Thanks for the support. I do need to put myself out there although I don’t need to perform BUT I need to perform in order to challenge myself. I do continue to switch between guitar, tenor guitar (DGBE) and baritone ukulele. The percentages are learning hard toward guitar now. 85/10/5. But with the similarities in tuning all practice works toward improvement.

Also, since you have a baritone ukulele you may like to look at the blogs created for bari-uke. You can Google ‘Humble Baritonics’ or ‘The Bad-Ass Baritone Ukulele’.

Great progress, fun #smallwins @j.humble. Congratulations are clearly in order, and you now know what you can do, that you couldn’t. Just eagerly wait for the next check in, when all will be even better.
