  • Repeated Daily Challenges?

Posted by Rrrob on May 13, 2021 at 8:20 pm

I’ve been a member off and on and started back a few months ago. Many of the Daily Challenges seem to be repeats. Does anyone know if that’s the way it always is or just with the site relaunch?

    Thanks

Hey @Rrrob The daily challenges do rotate and come back around about every 8 months. You might also see a few repeated during different weekly themes if they are in the same key and are applicable to the week.

I’ve been here since the beginning, and yes challenges are repeated. The first few years they were always new and the count of unique challenges got to well over 600. But then (I am thinking) Tony said – that’s enough, now let’s repeat the best, about a 1 or 2 year cycle. That has been fine with me since it I get a chance to do better each time they come around.

@Rrrob , Yes, the challenges are all over the place. You can judge the age by his tattoos. I think that is why he keeps his hair and beard the same. If he cut his hair that would be too noticeable. ha ha ha.

Has Tony ever posted about his tattoos? I searched for it and was unable to locate. Would be a cool topic ( not guitar related but cool) what the meaning or story of his tats, it has been fun ea video I watch to see the progress of his ink plus helps identify if it’s new or older content.

I see newer ones every so often (or at least new to me). I’m ok with that. In fact this is my 2nd year and I’m trying to pay a little more attention to what the daily challenges are really trying to teach me. I hope that’s a sign i’m getting better.
