PeterBeGood – Newby Aussie 30 dayer here,

I have a tab score for “Ring Of Fire” which has the letters Q, e and W above some of the 6 lines throughout the song. Does anyone know what the Q, e and W mean? I can’t find any reference to these letters in Ebay or Youtube.

    Thanks

    Peter

Hi @PeterBeGood and welcome to TAC. I believe they stand for quarter note (Q), eighth note (E) and whole note (W)

Wow, thanks @Loraine , I was totally confused. In fact, I didn’t even remember running into those. Then, when you explained what they were, I realized not only had I seen them, but I had seen the explanation also. HaHaHa, I’ve always been able to be forgetful. I hope at my age now that’s all it is. LOL.

      MG 😀
